Building In Public For Real Households

Why I build

I am Andy Meadows.  I lead product at Loftware by day.  At home I kept hitting the same walls: household ops in email chains, relationships that slip, health data in five apps, a day plan scattered across tabs, and knowledge that dies in chat.

So I built the tools I needed.  Each one is agent-friendly, designed for real households, and free to try while I am learning.  I ask for honest testing and feedback, not payment.

If you feel the same friction, pick a pain point below.  If you have another idea that should exist, pitch it.

A personal CRM that keeps the people you care about close, without the sales-tool baggage.

Offer.  If you share one of these pain points, reach out.  You can try the matching tool at no cost while I am actively building.  I ask for real use and candid feedback.

HomeOps

A calm household operating system for owners, house managers, and family.

The pain

Estate and household ops live in Notion dumps, email threads, verbal handoffs, and binder tabs.  Owners drown in noise.  Managers chase status.  Nothing has a single source of truth for tasks, vendors, travel, or approvals.

Who it is for

Executive households, estates, and family offices with a house manager (or equivalent) plus an owner who only wants decisions and risks.

Features

  • Role-aware dashboards for Owner, House Manager, and Family.
  • Household Pulse morning briefing (events, open issues, decisions, travel readiness).
  • Approval Center so managers propose and owners decide.
  • Smart task intake that turns free text into category, priority, vendor, and a work plan.
  • Modules for homes, vendors, vehicles, projects, travel, assets, documents, and contracts.
  • Dawn assistant for house brief and chat, with optional MCP reads for external agents.

Benefits

1Owners see only what needs a decision.
2Managers run the day from one command center.
3Family gets clear tasks without the ops tangle.

Kith

A personal CRM that keeps the people you care about close, without the sales-tool baggage.

The pain

Personal relationships fall through the cracks of phone contacts, LinkedIn, and scattered notes.  Sales CRMs feel wrong for friends and family.  Reconnect cadence, birthdays, and "last time we talked" are guesswork.

Who it is for

Busy people who want a private, invite-only CRM for the relationships they choose to keep close.

Features

  • Today view with Moments capture, reconnect cadence, birthdays, and reminders.
  • People search across names, notes, cities, companies, and groups.
  • Contact profiles with biography, timeline, notes, and logged calls, meetings, and emails.
  • vCard and LinkedIn connections CSV import with duplicate-aware merge.
  • Optional Google Contacts two-way sync plus read-only Gmail/Calendar touch history.
  • MCP tools so assistants can read people and log notes when you opt in.

Benefits

1You remember who to reconnect with before it gets awkward.
2Context lives with the person, not in a buried email thread.
3Imports and Google sync reduce double entry.

Health Board

One health dashboard that joins wearables, labs, meds, and daily habits.

The pain

Sleep, steps, weight, labs, and medications live in separate apps.  Caregivers cannot see a managed profile without sharing everything.  Trends and "what changed after that dose" are manual.

Who it is for

Individuals tracking their own health stack, and caregivers managing a shared profile with clear access rules.

Features

  • Daily view joining wearable sleep/activity, Apple Health, nutrition, and weight.
  • Labs with recommended tests, results by date, sparklines, and CSV export.
  • Medications with dose history and change tracking.
  • Training view for planned vs recorded sessions and recovery signals.
  • Per-profile data with manager/viewer sharing (no accidental cross-profile leak).
  • Agent connector tools for overview, metrics, meds, conditions, and procedures.

Benefits

1One board instead of five apps and a spreadsheet.
2Trends make medication and habit changes visible.
3Managed profiles keep caregiver access intentional.

Helm

Your day hub and wall-mounted tasks remaining view in one place.

The pain

The day's work lives in a planner, the calendar, and half a dozen app tabs.  A wall display should show what is left without signing in.  Capture of ideas should not create accidental planner clutter.

Who it is for

People who plan the day in Sunsama (or similar) and want a personal home plus a TV-friendly remaining-tasks wall.

Features

  • Helm home with projects map, Pocket, and Ideas capture.
  • Tasks Remaining wall view for TV or kiosk, no login required on that path.
  • Live open-task count from the connected planner.
  • Jump chips to Calendar, Daily Briefing, and sibling apps (Kith, HomeOps, Health Board).
  • Light/dark Meadows shell with Helm forest brand.

Benefits

1One glance tells you how much is left today.
2Capture stays in Helm until you decide it is real work.
3The wall stays usable for anyone walking past.

Second Brain

An agent-maintained knowledge repo for decisions, notes, and reference, without stuffing secrets into chat.

The pain

Useful context dies in chat threads.  Agents rewrite the same facts.  Credentials must never land in a wiki, but everything else should be findable and filed.

Who it is for

People running a multi-agent setup who want a durable, PR-reviewed knowledge base with clear rules.

Features

  • Inbox-only agent drops with PR review and an inbox guard.
  • Librarian filing into areas, projects, people notes, reference, decisions, and archive.
  • Classification that keeps credentials out and labels exposure.
  • Structured meeting extracts kept separately from verbatim transcripts.
  • Agent contract docs so every platform follows the same rules.

Benefits

1Knowledge survives beyond any one chat session.
2Agents write in a controlled lane instead of scattering files.
3Secrets stay in the password manager, not the repo.

Meadowlark

A family link shortener with a real dashboard, stats, and QR codes.

The pain

Consumer shorteners are ads, tracking soup, or work IT tools.  Families need short links on their own domains, with simple sharing rules and click history that is not a surveillance product.

Who it is for

Families and small groups who already own short domains and want private control.

Features

  • Fast edge redirects with KV cache and D1 source of truth.
  • Dashboard for links, per-link stats, and QR codes.
  • Domains under management with per-person access grants.
  • Admin / owner / member / manager roles.
  • Import path from a prior shortener export.

Benefits

1Short links stay on domains you control.
2Stats are family-scale and understandable.
3Access grants keep cousins from editing everything.
